How to Set Up Standard App Locking (Balanced Protection Mode)

Standard App Locking is designed for users who want strong accountability with less day-to-day friction.

Instead of locking every app by default, you select 50 higher-risk apps to protect, while the rest of your device remains accessible as normal.

What Happens in Standard App Locking Mode?

• You choose up to 50 apps to protect

• Only selected apps require unlocking through Ever Accountable

• Everything else remains accessible normally

• Accountability stays focused on higher-risk apps you've chosen

(Note: The 50-app limit is set by Apple’s iOS system.)

How to Enable Standard App Locking

1. Open the Ever Accountable app

2. Tap Settings
   

3. Select App Protection & Locking
   

4. Tap Standard App Locking and Select Edit Protected Apps
   

5. Check up to 50 apps you would like to monitor and select "Save"
   
   

Important Notes

• You can adjust your protected app list at any time by returning to:
  Settings → App Protection & Locking → Edit Protected Apps. However, please note that your accountability partner will receive a notification of this on your reports. This is to ensure transparency.
