How to install Ever Accountable in iPhone or iPad

Follow these simple steps to download Ever Accountable onto your iOS device.

STEP 1: Open the iOS App Store and search for "Ever Accountable".


STEP 2: Click the download button.
Note: If this is the first time you have downloaded Ever Accountable, you will see an option that says "GET". If you have downloaded the app previously, you will see the download "cloud" icon (as pictured below).

STEP 3: Select your Sign-In method.
Note: For the purposes of this tutorial, we are selecting the email option.

STEP 4: Enter your password, and then click the "SIGN IN" button to sign in.

STEP 5: Setup Screen Time Permission
Click the "Next" button.

Important Note: To ensure that you get past the setup for Screen Time Permissions, it is required that you setup a Phone Passcode/FaceID on your IOS device. This is a requirement from apple to use the Screen Time feature.

STEP 6: Click "Continue" to authorize Ever Accountable to access Screen Time on your device.

STEP 7: Select "Allow with Face ID" or "Allow with Passcode" to provide Ever Accountable Screen Time access.

After Allowing Screen Time access, you will be directed to a another screen, click "Done" to continue to the next page

STEP 8: Select "Next" after carefully reading through the instructions and notes below:

Pro Tip: We recommend blocking any apps that are “incompatible” – in essence, most apps are “incompatible” because Apple does not let us monitor them. As a result, it is important that the apps are blocked.

- We give you the option to “unblock” apps if you really need them, but we discourage this highly as it essentially leaves loopholes open.

- Please note that your Accountability Partners are notified if an incompatible app is not blocked.

STEP 9: Select "Next" to continue setting up your Safari Extension.

STEP 10: Setting up your "Safari Extension". Please read through the instructions this page and setup your Safari extension. 

STEP 11: Once, you are done, select "I've completed this steps" located at the end of the page:

Step 12: Once your Safari Extension is successful, you will be directed to go back into your Ever Accountable app to complete the process.

Step 13: Return to the Ever Accountable app. You should see the familiar "Thanks for securing your phone" window, click "Setup Finished" and wait for the app to verify the connections are established. This may take a minute.

Once the app has verified the connections, you will be taken to your account dashboard page in our app. Here, you can browse your other settings, or you can begin browsing. Remember, now that you have activated our Safari Extension activated, you can also browse with Safari!

- With the Safari Extension activated, we monitor Safari browsing much more closely with screenshots.

- The Ever Accountable browser is monitored and does not require the safari extension; however, it does not have screenshots enabled.
