What is a Screenshot Feature:
The Screenshot Feature helps strengthen accountability by automatically capturing random screenshots from your device. These images are securely reviewed for concerning or inappropriate content, and only relevant details appear in your accountability reports. Personal or unrelated images are blurred to protect your privacy, but you can also choose to view them unblurred on your device for maximum transparency with your accountability partners.
If you’d like to enable this feature on your device, follow the steps below:
How to Enable Screenshots in Android
Step 1: Open the Ever Accountable app
Step 2: Tap the Settings icon (bottom-right of the screen)
Step 3: Tap Screenshots
Step 4: Tap Activate Screenshots and screenshots are now activated.
Note: You can adjust the screenshot quality through the screenshot feature shown in Step 3.
There are two options:
Blurred: This is the default setting. When selected, we will give the screenshots a blur effect.
No Blur: This is a higher resolution screenshot.
When you are finished selecting the Screenshot Resolution Quality, simply press the back arrow at the top of the window to return to the Dashboard.
How to Disable Screenshots in Android
Step 1: Open the Ever Accountable app
Step 2: Tap the Settings icon (bottom-right of the screen)
Step 3: Tap Screenshots
Step 4: Toggle to turn off Screenshots
Step 5: On the next screen, you’ll be given three options for how long you want to disable Screenshots. Select the appropriate time.
Step 6: Also state the reason as to why you’re disabling Screenshots.
Step 7: Tap Disable Screenshots. You’re all set and Screenshots have been successfully disabled.
Note: As soon as you disable screenshots, an alert will be sent to your accountability partners letting them know that screenshots have been disabled.
