Sharing your messaging activity through Ever Accountable is entirely optional and turned off by default due to data privacy. However, if you’d like your accountability partner to have deeper insight into how you send and receive messages—and help you stay truly accountable—follow the steps below to enable messaging activity sharing on Android.
Step 1: Open the Ever Accountable app in your Android device (please see “How do I install Ever Accountable onto my Android phone or tablet?” if app is not yet set up in your Android device).
Step 2: Navigate to Settings, located in the lower-right section of the application
Step 3: Select App Configuration.
Step 4: Select Message App Sharing to display the available sharing options, then choose your preferred option from the drop down menu.
Note: You have 3 options for Sharing Messaging App Activity:
-
Don’t share any messaging activity (default setting) – No messaging activity will be shared.
-
Share concerning messaging activity only – Only activity flagged as potentially concerning will be shared, not your full message history.
- Share all messaging activity – All messaging activity on your device will be shared.
-> Any changes you make to these settings will be included in a report sent to your accountability partner.
Step 5: Tap the back arrow button in the upper-left corner of the screen to return to the home page. You’re all set!
