How to whitelist/Block an app

Ever Accountable uses the VPN access on your phone to connect to our filtering servers. This can cause communication issues with some apps. To correct this, you'll want to Whitelist the app.

STEP 01: Open the Ever Accountable app and click the "Settings" icon in the menu.

 

STEP 02: Scroll down and click on "App Configuration"

Step 03: Select "Individual App Sharing & Blocking"




 

STEP 04: In the "App List", tap the app you wish to change the configuration for. 

STEP 05: On the App Settings window, adjust the setting as-needed. 

• Uncheck "Share Activity in this app" if you want to stop Ever Accountable from sharing any data about this app on your report.
• Uncheck "Filter this app" if you want to stop Ever Accountable from filtering the app. 

Pro Tip: If the app in question is conflicting with the VPN filtering settings, try un-filtering the app first, but leave sharing on. 

Once you have finished making changes to the app settings, please allow up to 10 minutes for the settings to update on our server.
